BMS 268 - Human Physiology Credit Hours: 4 A lecture and laboratory study of mechanisms for maintaining homeostasis in the human organism. Topics covered include cellular structure and function, neurophysiology, metabolism, endocrinology, cardiovascular, pulmonary, renal and gastrointestinal physiology. Emphasis is on cellular and molecular mechanisms of physiology. Cannot receive credit for both BMS 268 and BMS 308-Springfield campus course.
Course Fee Prerequisite(s): Grade of C or better in BMS 110 or BIO 121 and a grade of C or better in CHM 116 and CHM 117 ; or CHM 160 ; or prior acceptance into the West Plains ASN program. Lecture Hours: 3 Lab Hours: 2
