BHS 240 - Behavioral Health Client Interactions I Credit Hours: 3 Students will be introduced to the techniques for assuring consistency, accountability and effectiveness for intake operations. Topics include the concept of intake, the purpose and types of assessment tools utilized for determining risk and treatment needs. Skills will be developed in conducting the interviews, establishing client rapport, eliciting client information, and utilization of proper clinical tools for documentation within a treatment plan. Complete course with a grade of C or better.
