MTH 113 - Intermediate Algebra II Credit Hours: 1 Topics in this course will include exponent properties; operations with complex numbers, including rationalizing the denominator; operations with rational expressions, including complex fractions; applications including the Pythagorean Theorem and the Distance Formula; and solving systems of equations and inequalities. A grade of C or better is required in this course in order to take MTH 136 .
Prerequisite(s): Grade of C or better in MTH 112 or appropriate placement score. Lecture Hours: 1 Lab Hours: 0
