NUR 100 - Fundamentals of Nursing Credit Hours: 7 A fundamental course in nursing, founded in evidenced-based practice, which introduces the student to the role of the technical nurse in collaborative care and to the nursing process. Emphasis is placed on the evidence-based techniques and technologies that are required in meeting the basic physical and psychosocial needs of adult clients. The students are provided the opportunity for practice in the campus laboratory and the clinical setting.
Course fee Prerequisite(s): Admission to the Missouri State-West Plains ASN program, placement in MTH 130 or higher; and a grade of C or better in BMS 110 . Lecture Hours: 4 Lab Hours: 9
