PSY 280 - Student Development Credit Hours: 4 Student development concerns life-span development, with a strong emphasis on grades K-12. Cognitive, social, and emotional development is covered, as well as developmental issues such as the impact of divorce, child abuse, substance abuse, sexuality, and peer pressure. This course also includes learning and motivation theory. This course will not count toward the major or minor in Psychology.
Prerequisite(s): PSY 121 and permission. Lecture Hours: 4 Lab Hours: 0
