Introduction to college reading designed to help students acquire and improve critical reading comprehension skills of academic texts necessary for college-level coursework. Provides intensive reading instruction in comprehension, vocabulary development, reading rate, reading efficiency techniques, and reading study strategies. Cannot be used to satisfy any General Education program requirements or any major or minor requirement.
