CFD 110 - Health, Safety and Nutrition Credit Hours: 3 Introduces curriculum, regulations, standards, policies, procedures and current trends related to health, safety and nutrition of children and families. Recognize and create safe environments for children, universal precautions and menu planning to meet the nutritional needs of children. Emphasis placed on integrating and maintaining optimal health, safety, and nutritional concepts in every day planning and program development for all children.
