HIT 255 - Advanced Outpatient Coding

Course includes advanced diagnosis and procedure coding for Outpatient settings, completion of HIM processing using AHIMA software, provider queries, and auditing work. Completion of class with a grade of C or better is considered passing.

Prerequisite(s): Grade of C or better in HIT 110, HIT 150 and HIT 210.
