HIT 175 - Electronic Health Records II

Course includes Electronic Health Records beyond implementation to include meaningful use, Merit Base Incentive Payment System, interoperability, optimization, certified health IT products, and completion of HIM processes such as patient scheduling, basic EHR navigation, clinical documentation tools and processes, clinical decision support tools, and billing. Completion of class with a grade of C or better is considered passing.
