UAS 120 - Introduction to Drones for Public Safety

This course provides a comprehensive overview of the information needed to use drones safely and legally in a public safety organization. Topics include available flight systems and their capabilities, and selection for specific public safety applications. Multi-rotor and fixed-wing drone flight systems, maintenance, registration, certification requirements, safety, insurance, public safety applications, emerging technologies, and the latest FAA policies will also be covered.
