CFD 101 - Foundations of Early Childhood Education

The Foundations of Early Childhood Education course introduces students to the different content areas in early childhood education and corresponds to the eight subject areas of CDA and teacher preparation. The course includes principles of early childhood development and theory characteristics of cognitive, social/emotional and physical development of children, principles of developmentally appropriate practice and the standards of professionalism in the field of early childhood education.
