IST 210 - Data Analytics

In this course, students will learn how to develop sound research questions; identify and verify data sources; retrieve, clean, and manipulate data; and identify relevant data elements for a given audience. Students will learn common data analysis and visualization tools, including Excel, Tableau and Power Bl. Upon successful completion of this course, students will receive the following certification through the National Coalition of Certification Centers (NC3) - Trane Certification Program: Data Analytics Certification.

Prerequisite(s): Grade of C or better in CIS 201 and QBA 237
