BIO 235 - Genetics Credit Hours: 3 Concepts of classical, molecular and population genetics, genomics, biotechnology and epigenetics. Laboratory emphasis is on the chemical characteristics and in vitro manipulation of nucleic acids.
Prerequisite(s): BIO 121 or BMS 110 and CHM 116 and CHM 117 or CHM 160 and CHM 161 (recommended) and a grade of C or better in MTH 103 or appropriate placement score for MTH 136 or higher. Lecture Hours: 3 Lab Hours: 0
